Role Name: Powerscale Specialist Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Must-Have Skills: Networking - PowerScale - Design Networking - PowerScale - Implementation PowerScale - Administration Nice-to-Have Skills: NetApp experience Job Overview: The PowerScale Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation process of PowerScale platforms, with a focus on design, implementation, and administration. Day-to-Day Tasks: Remote Engagement: Collaborate with the team on remote engagements, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of the PowerScale platform. Design & Implementation: Design new setups and perform significant upgrades to existing PowerScale clusters. Develop implementation plans based on configuration testing. Certification: Perform certification of new code and features within the LAB environment. Conduct security assessments and address any related questions or concerns. Testing & Proof of Concept: Carry out proof of concept work and performance testing to ensure optimal performance. Documentation Maintenance: Maintain and update technical "How-To" guides and design documents to reflect new features or implementation changes. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and transition, addressing technical issues promptly. Skills and Expertise Required: Delivery Specialist: Expertise in unstructured data platforms, particularly PowerScale and, preferably, NetApp . Networking Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with networking concepts in relation to PowerScale solutions. Security Acumen: Ability to investigate, test, and address security-related concerns during the design and implementation phases. Performance Optimisation: Experience in proof of concept development and performance testing to ensure robust solutions.
