It is a really exciting time to get involved in the business as they are looking for someone to come in and manage a range of direct commodities.Reporting into the Director of Procurement, they will be responsible for leading and developing a range of categories, looking after the spend and championing procurement improvements and cost-savings initiatives.They are ideally looking for someone that has end-to-end category management experience across a range of direct categories from a manufacturing or similar environment and will be able to hit the ground running from day one.Please read on and get in touch for more details:Role & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across multiple different commodities.Build relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating and ensuring deals align with business activities.Support and manage multiple projects from cradle to grave, driving strategy and communicating risks with the team & business.Develop and lead procurement process across sourcing and operational procurement processes.Experience & RequirementsHighly experienced within Direct Procurement in a Manufacturing environment.Comfortable working in an international market, demonstrating excellent supplier management skills.Can undertake work and projects on their own initiative.Ideally degree and/or MCIPS qualified (however, this is not at all essential)
