Property Manager (Residential)
Location: West End, London
Position Type: 6 month FTC, on-site (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £42,000 - FTC with the view to go full time for the right candidate
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of residential properties in the West End of London. This role involves managing multiple sites and adapting to both company and client needs. You ll ensure the properties run smoothly, maintain strong tenant relationships, and deliver high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the buildings' image, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any site-related issues promptly. You ll handle vacant property checks, manage maintenance requests using our property portal, and process invoices and queries in a timely manner.
You will also coordinate tenant welcome meetings, update utility and council information, and manage tenant check-outs and any associated remedial work. Regular tenant meetings will be a key part of the role, working closely with the surveying team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Health and safety compliance is crucial, as is proactively managing risks and handling any insurance claims. You ll also generate regular reports for the estate manager and the surveying team. As a leader, you ll manage a team of residential managers and be the main point of contact for any questions or concerns.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have a strong background in property management, with experience in building relationships with clients, tenants, and suppliers. Knowledge of residential property legislation, service charges, budget management, and health and safety regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must.
