Serving approximately 400 students, our school is housed in a modern, purpose-built facility with spacious classrooms, expansive playgrounds, and beautifully landscaped outdoor areas. Our curriculum is designed to inspire and engage students, with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and creative arts. Our school is also dedicated to supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored interventions and support to ensure every child thrives. About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves working three days a week and is available due to a recent staff retirement. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and enthusiastic learning environment. The role stands out for its focus on a dynamic and diverse curriculum tailored to meet the needs of our students. You will be teaching a class of up to 30 students, with the support of a dedicated teaching assistant. The part-time nature of the role provides flexibility and a balanced work-life experience. Application Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students. • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment methods. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues. • Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that meets the needs of all learners, including those with SEN. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum. • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic growth. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and activities. • Support the personal and social development of students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture. • Communicate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
