Geography Teacher Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent Salary: £120 - £200 per day Start Date: Immediately Contract: Long-Term/Permanent GSL Education are actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join one of our fantastic client schools in Tunbridge Wells. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to teach Geography across KS3 to KS5, and help inspire the next generation of learners in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. As a Geography Teacher, you will be joining a school that is committed to both academic excellence and the personal growth of its students. The successful individual will have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and will possess strong subject knowledge, as well as a passion for teaching Geography. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lessons as a Geography Teacher across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Inspire and motivate students to develop an interest in Geography. Develop lesson plans and schemes of work that challenge and engage students in line with the school’s policies. Collaborate with colleagues and take part in departmental and whole school initiatives to ensure the progress of all students. Assess and track student progress regularly, providing feedback to support their academic journey. You will be expected to maintain a positive learning environment and manage behaviour in line with school policies. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in a secondary school setting. Excellent subject knowledge in Geography and a genuine passion for the subject. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
