DSP Engineer

They are currently seeking a DSP Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing advanced signal processing algorithms for essential applications in telecommunications and imaging. Key Responsibilities for the DSP Engineer: Design and implement algorithms for digital signal processors for embedded systems. Perform simulations to design signal processing algorithms and capture design specifications. Develop and implement software systems testing procedures including programming and documentation. Provide technical support to internal and external customers.  Key Skills and Experience Required by the DSP Engineer:    Knowledge of digital and RF hardware, its limitations, and the effects on system performance. Sound understanding of DSP theory with experience of algorithm development such as Filtering, FFTs, Channelisation, Signal Detection, etc. Knowledgeable in RF and Communications Theory with experience of developing digital communications systems or sub-systems. Degree qualified in a STEM subject, with an understanding of Digital Signal Processing algorithms.
