We are seeking a Graduate Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering projects within a dynamic and safety-critical industry. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working with a major client, contributing to the successful execution of a range of projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Scope Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure project success. Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones, to ensure successful project delivery. Commercial Management: Monitor project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to maximise profitability and minimise financial risks. Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet quality standards and regulatory requirements by implementing robust quality assurance processes and procedures. Communication: Provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, and progress to stakeholders and project teams, fostering open communication and collaboration. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing direction and support to ensure they achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, applying best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, project management) or equivalent work experience. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes. Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management. Commercial awareness, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and contract management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
