They have a requirement for a Graduate Engineer preferably with some experience in Structural Steel Systems / Scaffold / Formwork / Falsework or Non-mechanical construction equipment but a Raw Grad will be considered. Candidates will need to have knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to communicate at all levels. Variable work will enable progression to Chartered or Incorporated status and the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of product and project development from conception to completion. Main Duties: • Product development, design and analyses • Project support and product application support installations • Preparation of technical documentation • Structural calculations • Dealing with technical enquiries from internal and external customers • Dealing with suppliers regarding products, technical matters & manufacturing issues • Assisting with quotations, presentations and marketing • Attending meetings with clients and/or on site • Attendance at Group conferences Requirements: • OND/BSc/BEng/Msc in Civil or Structural Engineering • Office 365 • 2 D/3 D drafting or solid modelling • Practical knowledge of scaffolding and temporary works would be an advantage • Strong organisational skills • Ability to recognise and work to deadlines The Engineering department produces product manufacturing drawings in 2 D&3 D, project site application drawings and detailed structural calculations for both products and projects. The department also produces technical details, 3 D animations, marketing literature and web content. It also provides technical support for sales, customers and checking authorities. They aim to continuously improve the service offering, in addition to bespoke software currently using the software below: Analyses Sky Civ Dlubal Advanced Design Robot Solid modelling/Drafting Autodesk Auto CAD Autodesk Auto CAD mechanical Autodesk Revit Autodesk Inventor Autodesk Fusion Trimble Sketchup Animations 3 DS max Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a Driving Licence PLEASE SEND CV TO APPLY
