Gas EngineerAre you an experienced Gas Engineer with a strong understanding of mechanical building services installations? We offer apprenticeship schemes, delivered in partnership with local colleges and reputable training organisations.The Role Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as a Gas Engineer you will carry out a wide range of mechanical installation tasks throughout the Northwest Region.Your duties will include:Carrying out plumbing, heating and minor ventilation worksCarrying out material take offs from drawingsConducting fault diagnosis of heating systemsCompleting reactive maintenance work on siteServicing Commercial Gas boilers and Overhead Gas Radiant HeatersServicing Commercial Gas Catering EquipmentOur Requirements Solid experience gained in a similar roleExperienced in both domestic and commercial gas applicationsProven experience in fault diagnosis of heating systemsHave a NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in building services / plumbingHold a valid CSCS cardNon-Domestic Gas Safe certifiedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSuperb attention to detail, with drive to succeed and work well in a fast-paced environmentA full UK driving licenceAlthough not essential, OFTEC, IPAF and PASMA accreditations would be highly advantageous, as would an SSSTS card, asbestos awareness and first aid certification.
