Pricing & Revenue Growth Manager EMEA – John Crane (Slough)The Pricing & Revenue Growth Manager EMEA will play a key role to advance revenue growth management & analytics throughout John Crane. The individual will be a business partner to the sales leadership for the EMEA region and will provide support to portfolio directors for their pricing strategies.The Pricing & Revenue Growth Manager will serve as the lead for pricing and revenue growth in the region and develop data analytic products to optimize revenue decisions at John Crane. You will become an invaluable partner to your stakeholders, help bring to reality their thinking about pricing possibilities, identify meaningful insights from large data sources, interpret and communicate insights and findings from analysis and experiments to drive top line growth.This role will coordinate with the Head of Pricing and other regional pricing managers to build a consistent approach, toolkits, processes, and culture.The key responsibilities are as follows –Be a great business partner to the regional sales leadership and their direct reportsEnsure the development and adoption of revenue growth management processes, tools and analyticsAnalyse pricing data, including competitor pricing strategies, market trends to provide sales leaders and portfolio directors with actionable insightsDevelop insights for pricing team, sales leaders, and product management integrating deep understanding of customer data with their goals and strategiesIdentify, prioritize, and execute pricing opportunities and initiatives with key stakeholdersDrive the adoption of new revenue growth management initiatives through the organisation acting as a change manager to promote a revenue growth cultureGenerate insights and drive decisions through dynamic analysis, using creativity to find a business solution around an issueVisualizing data into actionable dashboards to support better, faster business decisionsEnsure the utilisation and adoption of the data products for decision makingIdentify revenue growth opportunities using assortment, pricing, geo-location, and customer segmentationMaintain pricing systems & interfaces with ERP andreporting systems.The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience –Degree educated in statistics, mathematics, finance, business, or related discipline.7-10 years’ commercial experience with at least 5 years in pricing, analytics, reporting related roles.A self-starter with leadership capability and an ability to identify new and innovative insights to drive revenue growth.Proven ability to impact and influence at a senior stakeholder level across markets with solid networking, influencing & communication skillsStrong analytical, modelling and data visualization skills: PowerBI or similarMachine learning and/or experience in Databricks or Python5+ years of team leadership/ people management experienceAbout SmithsAt Smiths we apply leading-edge technology to design, manufacture and deliver market-leading innovative solutions that meet our customers' evolving needs, and touch the lives of millions of people every day.
