Colchester United Community Foundation (CUCF) has an exciting opportunity available for the 2024/25 academic year! CUCF provides high quality participation, health & inclusion, and education programmes to 9,000 children, young people, and adults from across the region each week. CUCF are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated, and committed Education Manager with high standards and strong work ethic on a full-time basis (40 hours). This role within our Education Team will include the leadership and development of Education Programmes, including the delivery of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and driving high-quality provision within community and school environments, adopting our delivery methodology and national curriculum schemes of work. This position is a key appointment within the charity, and you will require tenacity and the creativity to overcome obstacles and challenges, while having a large part to play in the success and positive impact on colleagues, schools, participants, their families, and our communities. You will have to be a leader and have the power to inspire and motivate people on and off the pitch. This position is based out of The Shrub End Community & Sports Centre, Colchester, CO2 9BG and delivery within schools across North Essex. Essential Qualifications & Experience: NGB level 2 Coaching Award (Example UEFA C Football Coaching License/Level 2 Multi Skills Coaching Award). FA Safeguarding Children Certificate. FA Introduction to First Aid Certificate. Willing to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check. Full UK Driving License. Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Relevant experience. This may include experience delivering within educational settings, organisational partnerships, sales, admin, and project management. Understanding of the Primary PE & PSHE National Curriculum. Understanding of the Secondary PSHE National Curriculum. A range of NGB Coaching qualifications. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop Develop positive and effective relationships and partnerships with colleagues, participants, parents/guardians, current and new education partners (Nursery, Primary, Secondary, PRU, Special Schools). Develop and enhance new and existing Education programmes to enhance the offer CUCF is able to provide schools in our local communities. Deliver Deliver high-quality provision within the PE/PSHE National Curriculum, within extracurricular activities within schools and within community activities. Deliver leadership and the drive of Education Programmes within CUCF, meeting KPI and development targets. Deliver high quality services to all partner schools and make CUCF a Premium Education Partner within North Essex. Support Support with the development and increased engagement of Partner Schools and participants within Education Programmes and CUCF as an organisation. Support and empower colleague with enriching participation Education projects and developing project co-ordinators. Collaborate Collaborate with the Head of Delivery and CUCF colleagues to promote high quality organisation and performance throughout Education projects. Collaborate with teachers, schools, and parents/guardians to maximise impact of Education programmes. Collaborate with teachers, schools, and parents/guardians within existing partner schools to enrich and maximise the impact of our work together. Evaluate Evaluate programme development and the impact on engagement and quality of services provides to partner schools. Evaluate the impact and success of delivery by collecting data (Where applicable), feedbacking case studies, and showcasing success.
