About the role: Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN)? As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students with a range of SEN needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Down Syndrome. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students on a one-on-one basis, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically in a warm and supportive environment. This role offers the flexibility to work either full-time or part-time, making it ideal for candidates who want to build meaningful relationships with their students while contributing to their success.

Application Requirements:
• Experience: Proven experience supporting students with SEN is essential.
• Education: SEN qualifications are a plus, but a passion for working with SEN students is a must.
• Skills: Patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to various learning needs.
• Adaptability and Resilience: The ability to respond calmly and effectively to challenging situations, demonstrating patience and flexibility when supporting students with varied needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• 1-on-1 Student Support: Provide individualized support to students with SEN, fostering their growth in line with personal development plans.
• Classroom Assistance: Aid teachers in managing classrooms, helping create an inclusive and engaging environment.
• Emotional and Social Development: Use your experience to support students’ emotional and social well-being, reinforcing positive behavior.
• Adapted Learning Materials: Assist in preparing resources tailored to students’ learning needs, ensuring they receive accessible, effective education.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, collaborating with teaching staff to continually adapt approaches.
