We are seeking a motivated andimpeccably organized General Manager’s Assistant to join BRS2, to assist andwork closely with the site’s General Manager. About Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers: the Operations teams that work in thesefacilities are responsible for controlling our vast range of fast-movinginventory, from Inbound to Outbound departments. They also work as smart asthey can to ensure that our customers receive what they want, when they wantit, while improving processes and workflows wherever possible. In this critical role, you will enjoy a varied and great range of interactionsdaily. This exciting role will allow you to be creative in bringing your ideasand fun initiatives to life, working with our Operations teams and drivingcommunication within the Fulfillment Center. Whatever you find yourself focusing on, it will be aimedat delivering the highest quality service to our internal and externalcustomers. Key job responsibilities • Plan, coordinate and organize onsite employee engagement events forassociates, including competitions, celebrations and handouts, and managingassociated budgets and deadlines throughout the year. • Plan events according to the site’s needs, prepare posters and campaigns topromote events and work with stakeholders to deliver and implement siteprojects. • Manage communication channels across the Fulfillment Center, includingnewsletters, corporate communications and site-specific message boards andfeedback channels. • Act as the site Charity Champion in the community, coordinating the sitecharity budget, working with central teams to embed network initiativesalongside local charity donations and campaigns. • Manage the network recognition programs onsite for associates and driveparticipation amongst your leadership team and associate population. • Be responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the leadershipteam’s travel and administration, including diary management and recordingactions of meetings and driving these to resolution on behalf of the GeneralManager. • Working closely with all support staff to build, coordinate and securerobust support and resources for projects and initiatives. • Welcome and coordinate visitors, on behalf of the General Manager andleadership team of the Fulfillment Center. • Diary management experience at Director andor Senior Manager level,including arranging travel and conference calls. • Make a positive contribution to the company’s culture that fostersdiversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday; job duties may requireadditional hours and availability outside normal working hours. May requireflexibility to adjust work schedule from time to time and to travel betweensites. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Demonstrable experience in the key responsibilities of the role, describedabove. - Ability to effectively prioritize and deliver multiple assignments whilealso serving as point of contact for a large team. - Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word,Excel). - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - High proficiency of English language ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Previous working experience within a large scale rapid and process drivenenvironment would be beneficial. - Degree level qualification or equivalent.
