Senior Security Engineer

Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity to be the first Cybersecurity hire for a world leading macro hedge fund in London. Opportunities like this do not come around often, as you will deploy and manage security platforms and tools found in financial and high tech industries. As the first security hire you will be given full autonomy which will allow continuous career growth at a speed not shown in many other industries. This role is for natural problem solvers and those with strong analytical skills, with the ability to work in a high performing organisation with a complex and changing tech stack. It’s important that you can thrive in this type of environment. To be successful in this role you must have hands on experience managing EDR and MDR systems and expertise in automation and developer tools. This isn’t a junior role, it’s tailored towards seasoned security engineers with a deep understanding of how security is done within financial services organisations. Due to the nature of this role and the key executives you will be communicating with, this hedge fund operates 5 days per week onsite.
