Transport Manager

Transport Manager £40,000 - £45,000 Location: Thurrock We are looking for a transport manager to support a manufacturing business in Thurrock. This is a long term and stable position with a reputable company. As the transport manager you will form part of the management team, with responsibility for looking after the companies transport management and fleet compliance. This is a hands-on supervisory role, working closely with the other managers within the business. You will also be responsible of looking after the company's drivers / loading staff as well as all vehicle maintenance. Transport Manager Position Requirements * Proven experience in Transport Management * Proven experience in Transport/Fleet Compliance * Understanding of legislation - weights and measurements and working hours. * Experience & Knowledge of route planning / back loads Transport Manager Position Remuneration * £40,000 - £45,000 salary dependant on experience * Monday - Friday Position * Pension Scheme * Parking on site * Good working environment
