It would be helpful if you note the sort of hours you're looking for when you apply: e.g. part time days and evenings/nights. We can be very flexible whether you are looking for 5 days a week or only one. What will I be doing?You will be supporting adults from 18 years of age with a range of activities. These will include everyday living needs, such as assisting with medications, supporting with health and medical appointments, through to the lighter side of life: bowling, swimming, going out for walks, listening to music, going into town, shopping or out for meals. A lot of the fun happens on the move, so you must be a driver. Don't worry you won't be racing between appointments. Your ability to drive unlocks the opportunities for them to do the things they really enjoy.On occasion, you will provide emotional reassurance and support to help people manage their behaviour, but we'll give you full training so you are aware of how to approach these situations should they arise.
