Senior Commissioning Officer
Rate: £23.60 per hour (Negotiable)
Location: Hybrid - 2 days in the office or occasionally on-site (Wednesdays in office required)
Are you experienced in commissioning with a background in social care?
We are seeking a Senior Commissioning Officer to join our dynamic team and support key projects across children's services and supported accommodation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the social care sector, who excels in providing support rather than taking the lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Support-focused role: Provide crucial assistance to senior leaders and project teams.
Report Writing: Strong skills in drafting detailed reports and presentations.
Stakeholder Management: Effective communication and collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Background in Social Care: Experience within children's social care is ideal; however, candidates with experience in adults commissioning (such as supported living) will also be considered.
Commissioning Experience: A strong focus on commissioning (needs analysis), rather than procurement.
Hybrid Working: Flexibility to work remotely, with Wednesdays in the office and occasional site visits.
