Your opportunity

• Research, design, develop, test, debug, document and support custom .NET applications or WPF/Angular in support of investment business needs
• Deliver to aggressive release schedules working as a cooperative team member in an agile development environment
• Client focused, committed to excellence, strong attention to detail and a team player
• Participate in code design and code reviews with appropriate team members
• Partner with the product owner and delivery team in an agile environment where we interact directly with business partners to establish requirements for and develop new solutions, and enhance and maintain existing ones
• Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues and understand overlaps of teams and applications

Must have skills

• Experience as a software engineer using C#/.Net /.Net Core /Angular/TypeScript/CSS
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using Web API 2.0, both on-premise and in Azure cloud
• Experience in SQL Server query development, stored procedures, relational database concepts, query optimization, performance tuning, and Azure SQL concepts
• Experience in UI/UX design and translating those designs to code
• Experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) repositories, pipelines, and release management
• Strong knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming, MVVM
• Experience with third party development suites such as Telerik, DevExtreme, and similar
• Experience working in an Agile setting with either Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proactive and analytical with strong problem-solving skills

Nice to have skills

• Experience with WPF
• Experience with research management systems, JIRA, Confluence, Bloomberg or cloud technologies
• Understanding of investment data and asset management
