Job Advert: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Croydon Salary: £90 to £110 per day (dependent on experience) GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a special school in Croydon. This role is perfect for individuals who have previously worked in SEN settings and are passionate about supporting students with special educational needs. You will play a key role in helping students with moderate learning needs achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, helping them access learning and reach their goals. Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs). Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Support students in developing social skills and managing their behaviour in a positive way. Requirements: Previous experience in an SEN setting is preferable. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A caring, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students with additional needs. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
