Accounts Senior

Our client, a friendly and well-established accountancy firm based in the heart of Brighton, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Senior to join their close-knit team. Key Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial accounts. Preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and other financial reports. Overseeing bookkeeping duties and supporting clients with accounting queries. Liaising with clients and providing proactive business advice and financial insight. Supervising and mentoring junior staff members, contributing to their development. Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience as an Accounts Senior in an accountancy practice. ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience). Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks). Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships. A proactive, team-oriented attitude, with a willingness to contribute to the firm’s growth and success.
