Behaviour Mentor Location: Rotherham Salary: £83.33 - £110 per day Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about supporting young people? Do you have the skills to help students overcome challenges and succeed? GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a school in Rotherham. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students with their social and emotional needs. Your work will make a real difference in their lives, helping them achieve their full potential. Responsibilities as a Behaviour Mentor: Provide one-to-one and small group support to students. Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage positive behaviour. Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe learning environment. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support. Build strong relationships with students to foster trust and motivation. Engage with parents and caregivers to support student development. Requirements for Behaviour Mentor: Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A genuine passion for helping students succeed. Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
