About Us We are a leading provider of cleaning and support services to a variety of sectors across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards across all our operations. Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced Area Support Manager to oversee approximately 25 sites, including medical clinics, offices, and private university buildings, within the Reading/Basingstoke area. This role requires hands-on involvement in managing cleaning teams, ensuring compliance with cleaning standards, and supporting with any missed cleans or staff training. Flexible working hours are essential, as many clinic sites operate from 5pm–9pm. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day operations for around 25 sites, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed as per contract standards. * Provide hands-on support, including training staff for periodic works and covering missed cleans when necessary. * Oversee holiday planning and ensure that cover is arranged for any absences. * Create, maintain, and implement an audit schedule, conducting audits to ensure compliance with cleaning standards. * Respond to audit fails and escalations, implementing action plans and keeping all relevant parties informed. * Plan and complete additional works as requested by sites, ensuring timely delivery within agreed budgets. * Conduct monthly site visits to assess service performance and address any staff or client issues. * Recruit, select, and develop cleaning staff to ensure all sites are properly covered. * Report on all account operations to the Operations Manager on a weekly basis. * Maintain professional communication with clients and ensure compliance documents are up to date. * Ensure that all risks, hazards, and incidents are reported, investigated, and appropriately addressed.
