Project Manager

Project Manager - North LondonOur client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee development/production projects. You will manage all aspects of projects from initiation to final delivery, ensuring smooth communication across departments and external stakeholders. This role involves direct interaction with customers, ensuring contractual obligations are met and projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Key Responsibilities:Lead the full project lifecycle from bidding/scoping to project closure.Manage project schedules, resources, and risk mitigation.Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations, etc.) and subcontractors for timely delivery.Regularly report project progress and financial status to senior management.Ensure export compliance and contribute to governance and continuous improvement efforts.Support Sales/Marketing teams with bid preparation and cost estimates.Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests, deliveries, and installations as needed.Act as the main point of contact for senior management and customers regarding project status.Skills, Experience & Qualifications:Solid knowledge of project management techniques, risk mitigation, and scheduling.Strong communication and customer-focused approach.Must have an Product based Engineering background, ideally in either Defence, Maritime or AerospaceFinancial and commercial awareness.Knowledge of military/naval contracts and processes is advantageous.HND/Degree in Project Management or relevant experience.APM qualification is a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in an engineering or software development environment.Strong budget management and forecasting skills.
