Trainee Insurance Broker – General Commercial Insurance Location – Orpington Kent Salary – to £35,000 DOE + Pension, Flexible Benefits after Probation (Hybrid) assistance towards CII Qualifications Our client is a leading National Broker in Orpington Due to continued growth in the Business they are looking for a Trainee commercial Broker with some insurance experience – this could be in Personal lines if you are now looking to move into a commercial role The position will provide training on the commercial classes of Insurance and also our client will assist with CII Qualifications Details of the position To provide administration support to the Account Handlers and the wider team when required. To assist the company to attempt to exceed budgeted income and profit targets and to help position the company for future growth by: Assist the Account Handlers and Directors of the Business with the Daily Administration and Broking of Commercial classes of Insurance for Existing and New Clients Assist with New Business Quotations, Mid Term Adjustments and Renewals Preparation of Market Submissions for New Business and Renewals Submission of Presentations to Insurers and Carriers Direct or via the Acturis system Negotiating with Insurers and Carriers on Terms for New Business and Renewals Assisting the Account Handlers obtaining claims experience and Renewals from Carriers Dealing with the clients day to day Enquiries Key Requirements • Good communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)_ • Proficient in Microsoft software: Word, Outlook & Excel • Accurate data input skills • Good organisational skills • Works well within a team. • Self-motivated Our client offers generous staff benefits and the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company.
