SEND Teacher

SEN TEACHER - Nuneaton PK Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teacher to work within one of our Special Education Needs (SEN) schools in Coventry that provide support to pupils aged 5-11 with autism and learning difficulties. This position is to start in October 24 About Us:  PK Education are an agency with a difference.  We have great relationships with schools across Coventry and Nuneaton. The post is offered with a ranging daily rate dependent on experience from £130-£205 per day (dependant on experience) working 8.30am – 3.30pm. The role offers an exciting opportunity to join a lovely SEN school with excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team. The successful candidate will have experience working with children in a SEN, school or nursery setting. You may also have experience working with children or adults with complex needs in a care setting. The school is a warm, friendly and inclusive SEN school which is at the heart of a diverse community. You will have: ·  Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS). · Experience working with children with complex or SEN needs within the last two years e.g Care Home, Residential Care Home, SEMH School or Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) · Are passionate about the development and learning of students with Social and Emotional Mental Health and want to make a difference · Work well with teachers as part of a professional team, supporting students with SEMH · Be willing to build relationships with learners and understand what is behind the behaviour · Able to work as part of a team and support the ethos of a school · Experience of moving & handling (ideal not essential) · Happy with personal care PK Education is committed to embracing equal opportunities and diversity for all employees, workers and applicants and shall adhere to such a policy at all times.
