Casual Cook

The job itselfWoldhaven Residential Care Home & Re-ablement Unit require a Relief Cook. Duties include - planning of menus, preparing and cooking wholesome, homemade recipes and catering for individual dietary needs. Supervision of Kitchen Assistant and all other personnel designated to kitchen duties.Liaising with service users regarding daily choices and menu preferences and taking part in resident meetings regarding menus and food choices.Knowledge of allergens is desirable.The ability to attend training during the day is also a requirement of the post.Hours are worked on a rota to meet the needs of the service.
