I am thrilled to be working with this retail giant who are seeking a Head of Reward and Workplace Relations. Based in Welwyn Garden City 3 days in the office Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for reward strategy and workplace relations? We're looking for a Head of UK Reward & Workforce Relations to lead and develop our strategy, playing a key role in shaping the experience of our workforce and ensuring our people strategy aligns with the business goals. About the Role: As the Head of UK Reward & Workforce Relations, you will take ownership of the Total Reward proposition for all UK employees, overseeing everything from pay and benefits to employee relations. Your leadership will guide the annual pay review cycle, manage bonus plans, and lead on salary surveys, benchmarking, and gap reporting. You'll also drive policy development, manage union relationships, and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities: Own and develop the UK reward strategy, including pay reviews, bonus plans, and flexible benefits. Lead and mentor the UK Reward & Workforce Relations team, fostering an environment that supports growth and development. Manage union relationships, leading negotiations and consultations while maintaining open, productive communication with union representatives. Ensure colleague policies and procedures are up to date, compliant, and reflective of our commitment to a positive workplace environment. Develop strategies for reward, benefits, and workplace relations, ensuring they align with the business goals and meet legislative standards. About You: Experience: Demonstrable experience in implementing reward and workplace relations strategies, with an in-depth understanding of technical HR matters and legislative impacts. Union Relations: Proven experience in leading union negotiations and consultations. Leadership: Strong leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing large HR teams. Policy Management: Experienced in managing HR policy changes and ensuring compliance with all relevant UK regulations. TPBN1_UKTJ
