Class 1 Hgv Driver

Job Overview:

• Type of Work: Fridge work, focusing on transporting perishable goods like fruit, vegetables, and frozen products within the UK.
• Vehicles: New 2024 model Right-Hand Drive (RHD) DAF 106 trucks, equipped with air conditioning, fridges, and inverters.
• Location: Based primarily in Harwich, CO12 area.

Job Requirements:

• Class 1 Licence: Must have held this licence for at least 1 year.
• Age: Minimum of 25 years old.
• Licence Points: Maximum of 6 points allowed; certain endorsements like DD, IN, DR, TT99, and CD are not accepted. (Contact us for concerns about points or codes.)
• Additional Qualifications:
  • Digital Tachograph card.
  • Driver CPC certification.
  • Strong understanding of HGV/LGV working hours, rest breaks, and safety regulations.
  • Experience driving Left-Hand Drive (LHD) vehicles is advantageous for those interested in international contracts.

Pay & Working Hours:

• Rates: Hourly pay with premium rates for night shifts and specific deliveries. For detailed rate information, please contact us.
• Working Hours: Full-time work, with the possibility of reaching the maximum allowable weekly hours. Both day and night shifts are available.
