Lift Tester, Modernisation Projects

KONE have an excellent opportunity for a Lift Tester to join our Modernisation and Repairs team. We are calling for applications in North West, North East and Yorkshire. Key accountabilities: • Commission the lift in accordance with the agreed specification parameters • Test the lift in accordance with the relevant test documents and KONE standard interpretation of EN81, Lift Directive and/or Design (Essential Health & Safety Requirements compliance) • Take measurements and complete the necessary documentation • Record any abnormalities for corrective action or inclusion in H&RA for the lift/site • Carry out final inspection and sign the Final inspection document • Liaise with relevant site personnel to ascertain state of lift • Take part in meetings and work groups related to quality and technical issues • Is responsible for the lift well security (safe for other trades and public etc) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the lift • Reports the condition of the lift to the Supervisor who is responsible for site activities Qualifications and previous experience: - NVQ4 or equivalent Lift Engineering qualification (modernised equipment) - Previous experience as a Lift Tester - Good written and spoken English - Clear UK driving licence We provide a range of fantastic benefits to our employees including: * Excellent salary available depending on experience * Annual bonus up to 15% * Paid overtime * Company car * Strong and clear progression programmes so that you can reach your full potential. * Trainings - KONE have a learning tool that allows you to apply for various courses that can increase your knowledge * 25 Days Holiday plus bank holidays * Company Pension Scheme * Employee Assistance Programme * PDI * Life Assurance
