Warehouse Operative / Driver

Our client is looking for Warehouse Operative / Driver on a permanent basis. This role is based in Colchester, Essex. This is an exciting role, offering ongoing training and progression. The driving aspect of this role is not multi-drop and will involve 2 - 3 drops per day to repeat clients in North Essex and Suffolk. The role will be 50% based in the Warehouse in Colchester and 50% driving work. Duties of the Warehouse Operative / Driver: Order picking and packing Goods in - unloading, checking and putting stock away Undertaking van driving (3.5ton van), to service clients in Essex and Suffolk Customer service, face to face on deliveries 50% based in Colchester 50% driving work The Ideal Warehouse Operative / Driver: Previous experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Experience in order picking using hand scanning systems would be an advantage Looking for a role which offers progression and further training - for example forklift training would be offered for the right person Looking for a long term role The ability to work well alone and as part of a team Excellent communication skills A full clean UK Driving Licence Pay, Hours and Benefits: £12ph (rising with training) 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 1.30pm on Fridays (35hrs per week) Ongoing training 20 days annual leave + BH Overtime available If you are interested in this role please apply with your up to date CV. #industrialperm
