Audit & Accounts Assistant

TPF Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with a dynamic and growing client based in Redhill, currently seeking an Accounts Assistant / Semi-Senior to join their friendly and expanding team. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of financial statements for a variety of clients Assisting with audit processes Managing bookkeeping duties Preparing VAT returns Supporting the team with tax compliance and advisory services Liaising with clients and responding to their queries Working collaboratively within the team to deliver excellent client service Requirements Requirements: Minimum of 12 months of experience in an accountancy practice Strong foundation in general accounting principles Familiarity with bookkeeping and VAT preparation Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively within a team High level of attention to detail and accuracy Proactive approach to problem-solving and client service Benefits Competitive starting salary of £24,000 - £28,000, subject to experience Study support towards further professional qualifications (ACCA/ACA/AAT) Opportunity to work in a varied role with exposure to different aspects of accounting Friendly and supportive work environment Opportunities for career progression within a growing firm Please contact Mark Sitton on (phone number removed),   , or via  for a confidential conversation.  Refer a friend...
