Are you a creative chef who loves working with the best fresh and seasonal ingredients? We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team of a popular restaurant in Chelsea. The venue is set across two floors and serves a varied menu using the finest British ingredients centred around an open grill. The La Carte menu offers a selection of lighter dishes: seasonal salads and seafood dishes, followed by a robust choice of classic grill dishes and famous Saturday and Sunday roasts. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to lead a dedicated brigade, ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen upholds high standards of quality, presentation, and taste. This is a fantastic opportunity for a culinary professional looking to grow their career in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including planning, preparation, and service. Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food consistently. Assist in menu development, incorporating seasonal produce and fresh, local ingredients. Ensure the highest levels of hygiene and food safety are maintained in line with restaurant standards and regulations. Oversee stock control and inventory management, minimising waste and ensuring efficiency. Contribute to a collaborative and positive kitchen culture. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role in a high-end brasserie or fine dining restaurant. Strong knowledge of modern British cuisine with a passion for using seasonal ingredients. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail. A creative approach to cooking and a desire to stay ahead of industry trends.
