Contracts Manager

About company: Our client have combined three companies that were established with over 40 years’ experience between them, from their head office near Swindon, the company has completed tiling contracts throughout the south of the UK. The client works repetitively for most of the UK’s respected house builders. About role: Currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to manage multiple sites across the M4 corridor covering Swindon, Oxford, Reading and Hampshire. Day to day functions: * Work closely with the site management for all tiling relating matters. * Attend pre-start meetings with the Operations Director when needed. * Check all plots are ready to tile prior to arrange labour. Ie, walls are level and plumb and floors all within tolerance. Report back to the site team if there are any problems. * Organise and arrange labour to meet site programmes. * Advise the commercial department when plots need to be ordered. * Order the relevant materials for each plot once tiles have been ordered. * Communicate with the commercial team to report any dayworks or site variations are required. * Attend customer care inspections and report back to customer care department. * Ensure plot / quality sign offs are obtained from site and sent to the Accounts department to apply for monthly invoicing. * Attendance Sub-Contractors meetings when required. * Toolbox talks to be carried out every month. Salary, benefits & further information: * Salary £38,500 per annum * 40 Hours – Flexible hours to meet the business needs. * Probationary Period: Three months, salary rising to £40,000 if successful. * 22 days paid holiday and also bank holidays. * Company Van provided * Company Fuel card, company telephone and tablet provided. * Christmas shut down every year
