Project Manager

Title: Project Manager Location: Bideford (Exeter office + future projects within 1 hour) Salary: £60,000 to £68,000 + £5k car allowance + benefits Initial project: New Build, £5.5m, local authority project Start Date: ASAP The Company: Our client is a well established and secure Exeter based main contractor with an annual turnover of around £30m. The company specialise in a range of new build and refurbvishment projects between £1m - £12m (typically £3m-5m) and across Commercial, Local Authority, Education and Health sectors. The company has an excellent project pipeline and has a robust struture routed in tradtional values based around delivering quality. Project Manager - The Role: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the team to lead a £5.5m new build steel framed project for a local authority client. You must have experince working for a main contractor on new build projects. Project Manager - The Person * You will have a solid and steady permanent career experience with construction main contractors * Demonstrable experience of delivering cnew build projects * Experience delivering contracts between over £4m as number 1 * Proven experience in managing site based teams, sub-contractors, liasing with client and overseeing H&S * SMSTS * Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things * High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme * A track record of delivering projects across multi-sectors including * A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals. * Commutable within 1 hour of Exeter and happy to travel to North Devon for the first project.
