Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire   Hours: Panama Shift Pattern (6-14, 14-22, 22-6 weekly rotations) Job Type: Full time, Permanent The client: Interaction Engineering have partnered with an established and growing manufacturing organisation that have been in operation for over 50 years. Due to substantial growth and the growth of the engineering team, we are now looking to welcome an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of plant machinery. Carrying out any work required around the site, working with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery where required. Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications to ensure all work is carried out efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant. Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies. The Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ worth of experience as a mechanical or electrical bias engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential) Proven hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities (essential) In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery Relevant mechanical/electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ’s/17th/18th edition) - advantageous In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery Full UK Drivers Licence Similar Roles include: Maintenance Engineer, Breakdown engineer, Industrial engineer, Industrial electrician, Multiskilled Engineer, Field Service Engineer Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
