Role: Web/ Marketing Analyst Salary: £40,000 Location: Manchester (2 day a week on-site) About My Client is an exciting and growing online marketing company. The Role Our expanding agency needs a Digital Analytics Executive to join our growing team. You will work with our Technical Director and Head of Insight to provide technical expertise on web analytics implementations, tracking, and reporting. Examples of tasks you'll work on include planning and implementing events on careers websites using Google Tag Manager, GA4, and other analytics providers, merging data from multiple sources into one dashboard using tools such as BigQuery and Looker Studio, and investigating and solving problems with data collection, e.g. incorrect cookie policies, large spikes in unexpected traffic, or misfiring conversion pixels. If successful in the role, you can contribute to shaping and defining the implementation, reporting, analytics and digital marketing services and the role can become critical to our digital marketing services. Our offices are in the centre of Woking - two minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the newly developed Woking town centre and 25 minutes from central London. You would be expected to work in the office one day per week in order to collaborate with the team on your tasks and projects. Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required You will have experience - either from a previous role or through education - of the digital marketing landscape and the collection and processing of web analytics data. You will be comfortable working with: Google Tag Manager Google Analytics 4 Microsoft Excel Power BI, Tableau, or Looker You will be comfortable working with, or willing the learn the following: Google BigQuery Google Data Studio / Looker Studio HTML & CSS You would have some familiarity with, or be interested in learning the following: Large data sets Conversion tracking (e.g. pixels) Cookies and privacy regulations JavaScript In Technology Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
