Part-Qualified Accountant 12 month FTC £30,000 to £35,000 subject to experience plus benefits Hybrid working, 3 days in the office Greater Manchester Location is accessible by bus, car (free parking), cycle, rail T2M Resourcing are recruiting a part-qualified Accountant to join the finance team of this market leading multi £b turnover group based south of Manchester city centre. Our client is seeking an analytical , inquisitive and enthusiastic, ‘can do’ character loves to work on their own initiative but also thrives as a team player within a fast paced environment. If you ‘love to learn’ and deliver business insights through high quality data reporting, this is a great opportunity for you to develop. This is in initially a 12 month fixed term contract but for the right candidate there may be further opportunity within the organisation. What will you be doing? * Responsible for the review, consolidation and preparation of monthly financial information * Ensuring the accurate accounting of the general ledger in accordance with business timetable * Forecasting and reporting to the Group Financial Controller on variances to budget * Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business What are we looking for? * Part-qualified accountant (AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA) * Ideally degree qualified in finance, business or equivalent * Must have strong analytical skills * Must be IT savvy, with strong excel and reporting writing skills * Confident and articulate with great communication skills to interact with all levels of stakeholders within finance, operations and the wider business * Inquisitive and detail focused - happy to dig into information to find solutions to issues * Financial systems experience, ideally Oracle What’s in it for you? * This is a great business offering support and development * Fabulous offices – there is a real buzz and positive culture * Competitive salary and benefits Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent full time basis.
