This leadership role involves providing legal guidance, managing relationships with external counsel, auditors, and regulators, and overseeing our Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) structures. The ideal candidate should understand global legal frameworks in financial environments and align legal strategy with business objectives. As General Counsel, You Will: Lead Global Legal Strategy: Provide counsel on governance, contracts, litigation, and compliance, aligning legal insights with business goals. Oversee Legal Relationships: Manage external law firms and liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities. Manage ABS Structures: Ensure compliance and oversee legal frameworks for ABS agreements. Risk and Compliance Oversight: Identify legal risks and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks. Team Leadership: Foster collaboration and develop policies promoting compliance and ethics.
