Intervention teaching assistant

Location: Coleshill Start Date: November 2024 Position: Full-Time Are you passionate about early literacy and skilled in teaching phonics to young learners? We are seeking a dedicated Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a primary school based in Coleshill, leading small group interventions across Reception to Year 2 classes. Key Responsibilities: Phonics Intervention: Lead and deliver targeted phonics interventions to small groups of pupils from EYFS (Reception) to KS1 (Years 1 and 2). Support & Progress: Monitor and support pupils' progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. Collaboration: Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo to ensure that all students receive the support they need to succeed.Requirements: Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential. Experience: Proven experience in teaching phonics, particularly within EYFS and KS1 settings. Passion for Literacy: A strong commitment to improving literacy outcomes for young learners.
