Quarry Manager

We are seeking a Quarry Manager to join a market-leading international manufacturer with an impressive network of quarry operations located next to their manufacturing plants. The Quarry Manager is based close to Monmouth. The vacancy offers a salary of up to £60,000, a company car, company pension matched up to 8%, a generous holiday allowance, and 8% KPI bonus. In addition, a relocation package may also be available for the right candidate. What's in it for you as a Quarry Manager: Salary of up to £60,000 Pension matched up to 8% by the company 8% KPI bonus Comprehensive employee benefits program Training and personal development opportunities The ability to join a true market leader Key responsibilities of the Quarry Manager: Managing a team of 12/15 employees, with 2 direct reports Ensuring that the quarry's production levels are maintained safely, to schedule and in accordance with the quarry plan Oversee major extraction to the highest safety and environmental standards Managing third-party contractors, company operatives and road hauliers to ensure supply to internal and external customers Budget management and manage costs of the quarry operations Management of the quarries quality assurance and environmental systems, including water discharge best practice Interpret, collect and analysis of extraction and geological data and its effective use to develop and achieve key targets and objectives Project management of defined capex projects Promote the highest Health & Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment and active participation in quarry health safety and environmental auditsEssential Qualifications & Experience of the Quarry Manager: The successful applicant must have one of the following recognised qualifications: geological or quarry management Experience of being appointed under Regulation 8 (1) (c) of the Quarry Regulations EHS/ HSE Level 4 (training provided to reach level 6) Demonstrable quarry supervisory experience.
