Key Responsibilities: * Expert Craftsmanship: Execute carpentry tasks, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures throughout the Underground. * Collaborative Projects: Work closely with engineers and other trades to deliver high-quality results on various projects, adhering to strict timelines. * Safety First: Uphold the highest safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations. * Inspection & Maintenance: Assess the condition of existing structures, recommend necessary repairs, and carry out maintenance work to ensure longevity and safety. * Clean & Organized Work Area: Maintain a tidy work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored safely and efficiently. Qualifications: * Experience Required: Proven experience as a carpenter; experience in public works or underground projects is highly desirable. * Certifications: Valid CSCS card and relevant industry certifications. * Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials, with an eye for detail and quality. * Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating excellent communication skills. * Adaptability: Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing schedules as required.
