Senior Electrical Engineer - FM Service Provider – Oxford - Manufacturing Environment -  Up to £50,000 Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service provider situated in Oxford. CBW is currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to be based in a Manufacturing Environment. This will include managing the various electrical safety checks, Fixed Wire Testing programme and all the associated LV/HV planned and reactive maintenance plus any project works.  This successful candidate will report to the site Contract Manager and take full responsibility for the electrical technical framework and appointments across the plant.  Managing several specialist electrical contractors and liaising with the client to arrange associated maintenance outage windows, you will be the subject matter expert across the plant and support the operational delivery and development of the engineering team. You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.  Hours of work & Package Salary of up to £50,000 Company Phone  25 days holiday plus bank holiday Company Pension Private healthcare Sick PayKey Duties & Responsibilities Issue relevant site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work Close liaison and working relationship with the Client/Tenants Carry out hands-on M&E/Fabric maintenance Ensure that daily tours are completed and repair or report any defects found via the Landlord/Tenant helpdesk Comply with both statutory and company health, safety and environmental regulations and policies. Control of specialist contractors including monitoring of work performance and standards, including internal auditing where applicable Take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and producing and submitting incident reports within the prescribed timescales in conjunction with the Contract Manager An understanding of the following M&E systems; Building Management Systems and electrical monitoring, Control system, Air handling, conditioning and terminal units –Fan Coil Units and VAV Boxes, Domestic water services, Fire prevention and detection systems, Fire alarm and voice alarm, VESDA, Fire suppression, Sprinkler Systems,  Emergency lighting. Ensure that Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc.are kept to the highest level of housekeeping Attend clients meetings Assist with monthly reportsRequirements Electrically qualified Leadership experience (Preferred) C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 C&G 18th Edition You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.
