Procurement Officer Salary: Up to £44,000 + 10% Bonus Locations: Flexible - South of England Offices (Hybrid) Are you a skilled procurement professional with a legal background looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join a leading defence sector client. In this role, you will manage high-value service contracts worth millions of pounds, playing a key part in the strategic procurement and contract management function. The Role: As a Procurement Officer , you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process for key service contracts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement strategies align with the client’s business objectives and deliver value. Key responsibilities include: Managing strategic procurement activities for multi-million-pound service contracts Handling contract negotiations, renewals, and vendor relationships Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks Monitoring contract performance and mitigating risks Supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes Requirements: Law degree or equivalent legal background (essential) Minimum 2+ years’ experience in procurement or contract management Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills Ability to obtain security clearance (UK resident for the last 5 years) Defence sector experience is not required, but an advantage Benefits: Hybrid working with flexibility to work from any of the client’s offices across the South of England Competitive salary of up to £44,000 plus 10% annual bonus Opportunities for growth and career progression within the defence sector How to Apply: If you’re a proactive procurement professional with a legal background and ready to take on a challenging, rewarding role, apply today!
