QC Scientist Permanent £37,000 - £42,000 We’re recruiting for a clinical-stage biotech, that pioneers transformative technologies that allow precise control of gene expression. As a QC Analytical Scientist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring products meet stringent EU and FDA GMP standards. Your work will directly contribute to developing potentially curative treatments for patients with serious diseases. Responsibilities * Perform testing of gene therapy products in alignment with product specifications and production schedules * Support environmental monitoring and ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained * Document out-of-specifications, non-conformances, and investigations, and implement corrective actions * Assist in developing and updating SOPs, maintain GMP compliance, and support internal/external audits * Ensure timely and GMP-compliant training, while also supporting the training of colleagues * Uphold our Quality Management System, maintaining data integrity and document control * Support any external or internal audits where required Your Experience * Degree in Human Health, Sciences, or equivalent relevant experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry * Knowledge of GMP environments and quality control within pharmaceuticals, biologics, or similar industries * knowledge of EU and FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc * Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office Be a part of the mission to transform lives through innovative gene therapy.
