They are currently looking for a Senior Link Worker to work within the Community Connections team.
Salary: £29,680 - £33,920 dependent on experience
Hours: 35 hours
Duration: 12 month FTC

Location Hybrid / Woking
Our client has a range of mental health and wellbeing support services in Guildford, Waverley, Surrey Heath, Farnham and North West Surrey. Their support services range from prevention to crisis support and are positioned across community, primary and secondary care.
Within the role of Senior Link Worker you will have line management responsibility and provide clinical supervision to a team of Link Workers. Your aim is to coach and support staff to deliver quality support and interventions to individuals who access the service.
You will also work your own caseload of individuals with the aim of enabling them to manage their own health and wellbeing, promoting healthier lifestyles and raising the awareness of the concept of wellbeing and good mental health within an integrated pathway.
With a collaboratively approach you will support the Senior Group Worker and Service Manager with service delivery and improvement.

Our ideal applicant will have/be:
- Diploma / degree in appropriate subject (counselling, psychology, social care, mental health, health and social care etc) OR Community experience of mental health, wellbeing, behaviour change working with adults
- Experience of supervising, supporting or mentoring staff and or volunteers
- Ability to manage a caseload of high risk clients
- Sound knowledge and understating of mental health issues
- Knowledge and skills of engagement, motivational, and behaviour change approaches
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to travel and work flexibly
