Management Accountant

Page Personnel are recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a leading retail / wholesale business based in Bolton. The purpose of this role is to assist the Finance Manager with the production of the full, end to end monthly management accounts. Description Management Accountant duties include: Performing the month end procedures - reconciliations, posting journals, accruals and prepayments Supporting the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly IFRS submissions to the group and annual statutory accounts (FRS102) Assisting with audit preparations Cash book controls and reconciliations Treasury functions, including raising foreign currency payments on a weekly basis Maintain fixed asset register Maintain and enhance financial processes and controls in line with group requirements Ad-hoc financial duties and project work as required.Profile The successful candidate will: Be AAT qualified or part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA. Have a proven track record in a similar role - exposure to management accounts. Have strong MS Excel skills - vlookups, pivot tables etc. Be an excellent written and verbal communicator. Have a high level of attention to detail.Job Offer A salary up to £40,000, working from home, study support, buy & sell holidays, subsidised gym & more
