My client are a leading consumer brand, with worldwide notoriety and a strong brand reputation. Their products are sold online and in stores, with advertising across digital, OOH and retail spaces - not to mention high profile partnerships and sponsorships. Together, we have partnered to recruit the job of Campaign Manager on a contract basis, initially for 12 months. Your new roleYou will be responsible for planning, and successfully delivering media campaigns across key markets in Europe, through data-driven campaign planning, in-campaign performance optimisation, performance reporting and analysis, and keeping abreast of the constantly evolving media landscape. You will be driving collaboration and clear understanding of campaign plans and objectives between the communication planning team, product planning & marketing teams and local marketing teams, as well as media & insight agencies.This will include:Evidence-based best in class media plan development across all paid media channelsLeading strategic discussions with media agency and publishers (such as Google, Facebook etc.) and working alongside the communication planning team to build customer journey-focused plansLeading discussions with media agency partners and local marketing teams to prepare efficient implementational media plans by channel to meet campaign strategy & objectivesAllocating budget efficiently between different activities, channels, tactics and markets to meet campaign strategy & objectivesEnsure campaigns go live on time and to planWorking with web analytics team, media agency and external reporting team to QA bi-weekly in-campaign reportsAnalyse performance reports, identifying key trends and root cause where delivery deviates from expectationDetermine and ensure implementation of optimisations necessary to drive successful campaignsForecast Media spends monthly.End to end management of consumer research projects on behalf of product planning & marketing teams, and R&D teams including taking briefs, selecting appropriate agency partner, and project managing the research, be it focus groups, one to one in-depth interviews or online surveys. (This may involve some European travel to key markets such as Germany, France and the Netherlands.)What you need to succeedExperience in a Media & Insights communication function, be it agency or client sideRelevant marketing campaign execution experienceEffective communication and influencing skillsAbility to commute to Weybridge on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days per weekWillingness to commit to a contract role, for 12 months paid on a daily rate basis (agency contract)What you'll get in returnYou will receive a daily rate equivalent to a £40,000 - £50,000 a year salary, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, use of excellent office facilities, eligibility for company bonus scheme, and a long term career prospect with the brand.
