Solutions Architect - Finance: Data, Infrastructure, Finance, London Markets

An initial 12-month contract for a Solutions Architect to join a data driven London Market Insurer. As part of their Finance Transformation programme, you will work closely with the finance function & 3rd party vendors to define Data Architecture solutions, including the re-architecture of their General Ledger.

This is a transitional environment, so an agile & flexible approach to architecture is key. You will have a deep understanding of Finance processes with hands-on experience producing data & infrastructure focused technical designs for finance systems & integrations.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Solutions Architect with a background in defining the technical solutions for Finance programmes

This is an initial 12 month Outside IR35 Contract with a day rate of £700 - £800 with 2 days in London office.

Responsibilities:

• Design & implement data & infrastructure architecture solutions to support Finance processes and systems
• Lead the re-architecture of General Ledger system to improve scalability, performance and compliance
• Produce comprehensive documentation, including system architecture and process worflows
• Assess and modernise the existing infrastructure to drive innvovation and digital transformation
• Collaborate with 3rd parties, technical and not technical holders to ensure alignment with business and technical solutions

Requirements

• Proven experience as Technical Solutions Architect who has supported Finance projects or programmes
• London Markets experience is highly desired
• Strong knowledge of Finance processes and systems
• Knowledge in Cloud-based architectures and experience in re-architecting complex systems
• Familiarity with modern technologies in data management, integration and financial analytics
