Mechanical CAD Engineer £40,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression Rugby, Warwickshire Are you a Mechanical Engineer who has worked in a drawing office within manufacturing? Do you want to contribute to the development of the next generation of Submarines, with a clear scope to progress to a Mechanical Design Engineer? As a Mechanical Engineer, you will complete drawings to support the Design Engineers in carrying out design for manufacture. With strong 3D CAD skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes and an appreciation of how motors and generators work, you will have the core skills required to excel in this position. This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer who has previously worked in a CAD focused role within manufacturing. DUTIES * Carrying out drawing duties using CAD software, supporting the design team * Producing Bill of Materials and at times supporting with Failure Mode Analysis * Liaising with the shop floor, supporting with projects when required PERSON * Mechanical Engineering background, with a HNC / HND or relevant Degree * Strong 3D CAD skills, using a recognised CAD package * An appreciation of motors, generators or similar Mechanical, Engineer, CAD, Design, Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial, Defence, Marine, Naval, Solidworks, Inventor, Project, Draftsperson, Draftsman, Technician, Rugby, Warwick, Banbury, Coventry, Leamington, Northampton, Leicester TF:146 TPBN1_UKTJ
