We're looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who embraces new technology. There is a big opportunity in this role as they look to embed and automate their activities into the ERP system. They play a major part in building sustainable and improved infrastructure across the UK in power, water, telecoms and transport sectors. They are central to supporting the UKs strategy towards net-zero. They are on a significant growth trajectory adding over 200 people/ year across the UK. Their People team provides a first-rate service to the business. The Role Lead a first-class proactive service to the business and all its employees whilst embracing innovation and technology Manage all aspects of payroll through the ERP system (Workday) including salary, pension, absences & leave, benefits (e.g. car, healthcare), statutory deductions, starter checklists/P45s Managing the payroll inbox and answering employee questions or queries about salaries and payments Reviewing the way they work and driving for efficiencies and improvements Manage data and financial security across payroll processes Perform checks on monthly reports including net variances and comparisons between payroll and HR systems The Candidate Ideally have significant experience with Workday (although other systems will be considered) Have experience in payrolldelivered to c500+ people Excellent knowledge of UK legislation relevant to payroll Operate to a high level of accuracy and have great communication skills Terms Salary £43k FTE* This is a part-time role between c15-20 hrs/week, open to flexibility (this could be worked as two days of 7.5 hours or working across 4 or 5 days, 10am-2pm). They operate a hybrid working system with a simple, in more often than not policy. This role could be done from the head office near Bicester.Alternatively, the role could be based out of the Cirencester or Bristol offices, but in this case, some travel to Bicester should be expected (eg fortnightly). 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (this will be pro-rated down for part-time hours) plus a day off for your birthday.
